FISHING
Fishermen casting their lines can anticipate catching largemouth, smallmouth, spotted or white bass. They may also catch crappie, walleye, or bluegill along with channel, bullhead, and flathead
catfish. We have wonderful walkable shorelines for bank casters. Our coves and points are a fisherman's dream, and we have year 'round fishing. Those needing a fishing license may
purchase one at the marina store.
If you are looking for a fishing guide, we recommend Gary Stanton. You'll enjoy your day of fishing for sure!
Sarah Knetzke, age 9 of Ozark, MO caught this 6.1lb (15-1/2" girth) largemouth in one of the coves near Stockton State Park Marina on July 2, 2011. She caught it using her Scooby Doo fishing
pole, 10lb test, and a nightcrawler/bobber combo. What an awesome catch!
